1. Biomimicry means "imitating life, this is humankind takes attributes that nature has created and uses them to be helpful.
2. Termites are a great example for biomimicry research because microorganisms in the termite's stomach turns cellulose into hydrogen. This is where the termites stop, but humans can then take the resulting hydrogen to power vehicles.
3. An enzyme or a catalyst is a microorganism that helps to speed up a natural process.
4.Cellulose material is all the parts of plants that humans do not or cannot eat.
It would be more sustainable because sugar cane and corn are both edible, and using them for fuel deplete the amount of corn there is to eat, therefore driving the price of corn higher. But cellulose goes to waste anyway, so why not use it?
